Grant McCann made his first signing for Hull City yesterday by snapping up goalkeeper Matt Ingram from QPR. Here are five other players he could target-
George Boyd- The winger is a free agent after leaving Sheffield Wednesday at the end of the season. He spent a year-and-a-half at Hull before moving to Burnley in 2014. McCann knows him well from playing with him at Peterborough United and Boyd is an option for the Tigers this summer.
Jon Taylor- He is another player out-of-contract with his deal at Rotherham United coming to an end. The pacey winger impressed against Hull for the Millers last season and is another who McCann knows from his Posh days. He has been linked with a move to Sunderland but is certainly a player who the Tigers could look at.
Erhun Oztumer, Bolton Wanderers- The tricky attacking midfielder could leave the Trotters following their relegation to League One. The former Walsall and Peterborough man would offer Hull more depth and options going forward.
Martin Samuelson, West Ham United- McCann loaned the 22-year-old for the Posh in 2017. The winger could leave the Hammers, of whom the new Hull boss used to play for, on loan again this summer having spent time with the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Burton Albion.
Kieran Sadlier, Doncaster Rovers- He was part of the Donny side who got in the League One Play-Offs last season. McCann played with him at Peterborough and then signed him from Cork City last summer.
