Five wingers Leeds United could sign to replace Jack Clarke

Leeds United’s Jack Clarke is closing in on a move to Tottenham Hotspur, as per the Yorkshire Evening Post. Here are five wingers the Whites could sign to replace him this summer-

Ryan Kent, Liverpool- The 22-year-old could leave the Champions League winners on loan again this summer and would fill the void left by Clarke’s departure at Elland Road. He has spent time out on loan at Coventry City, Barnsley, Freiburg, Bristol City and Rangers.

Liam McCarron, Carlisle United- The highly-rated 18-year-old has been linked with a move to Leeds over the past few weeks. He broke into the Cumbrians’ first-team in League Two last season and looks to be a real talent.

Helder Costa, Wolves- He has also been a name mentioned in regards to moving to Leeds this summer. The Portuguese international played a key part in Wolves’ promotion to the Championship in 2018 and would be an impressive coup by Marcelo Bielsa’s side if they can lure him to Yorkshire.

Lucas Piazon, Chelsea- The Brazilian is an option for Leeds. He has spent the past seven seasons out on loan from Stamford Bridge with Malaga, Vitesse, Eintracht Frankfurt, Reading, Fulham and Cheivo. He has played in the Championship before and knows what it entails.

Marcus Edwards, Tottenham- Could the Whites try and bring Edwards in from Spurs as part of the Clarke deal? The 20-year-old spent the last campaign in the Dutch Eredivise with Excelsior and scored twice in 30 appearances.
