Leeds United in bid to bring former loan player back.

Although the player didn’t totally win over all Leeds United fans last season, this former loan man returning could be a great deal now that he knows the club and the league.

Jack Harrison spent last season on loan in West Yorkshire from Premier League Champions Manchester City, having a slow start but eventually proving to be a useful addition to the squad.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is a big admirer of the twenty two-year-old winger and would like the player back with the squad for the 2019/20 Championship campaign and according to Football Insider, the Whites have now gone in and tabled a seven figure offer to loan the Stoke born wing man for a second successive season.

Last time out, Harrison divided opinion amongst the Leeds faithful, with some believing that he doesn’t have what it takes to be a hit at Elland Road, while others believing that they have only seen a snippet of his true potential.

The 2018/19 season saw Harrison play thirty-seven times for Leeds, scoring four goals and providing three assists, but he showed signs of real potential and is a thorn in the side of any Championship defence.

Given that the former New York City loanee is now accustomed to life in Yorkshire and has built a relationship with his team mates, not to mention having minutes in the bank in some huge fixtures last season, could Jack Harrison be a really shrewd acquisition for Leeds again this season?

I’m sure some will agree and some will disagree, but most will want to see the player do well should he return.
