Leeds United are in talks with Manchester City over a loan deal for Jack Harrison.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Elland Road and the Whites are keen to bring him back for another campaign, as per a report by Football Insider.
Harrison, who is likely to leave the Premier League champions on loan again this summer, played 42 times for Leeds in all competitions last season and chipped in with four goals to help them get into the Championship Play-Offs.
With Jack Clarke set to join top flight side Tottenham Hotspur this week, bringing Harrison back would provide the Whites with more options and depth on the wing for next term.
Harrison, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, had spells in the academies at Liverpool and Manchester United before moving over to America as a youngster.
He started out in the Major League Soccer with New York City, of whom he signed for in January 2016. He went onto make 60 appearances for the Blues, scoring 14 goals.
Harrison was snapped up by Manchester City, New York’s partner club, in January 2018 and signed a contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2021.
He was shipped out on loan to Middlesbrough for the second-half of the 2017/18 season and played four times for the Riverside club.
Harrison did well at Leeds in the last campaign and is highly-rated by Marcelo Bielsa. Re-signing him for next season would be a shrewd bit of business by the Yorkshire side.
