Bristol City, Wigan and Brentford interested in Everton full-back

Antonee Robinson is supposedly linked with a move to three Championship teams, Bristol City, Wigan Athletic and Brentford, according to Alan Nixon on Twitter.

The young full back spent time on loan at Wigan Athletic last season, playing a total of 26 games for the Tics. The season before his loan spell to Wigan he was loaned out to Bolton Wanderers. During his time at Bolton he featured 34 times. Robinson, is yet to score a goal in his professional career. The left back has played for the United States throughout his youth and senior career. He played a single game for the under 18s, two games for the under 21s and a total of seven games so far for the senior team. Quite impressive for a 21-year-old.

Robinson has been at Everton for four years, although he is yet to play a game for the toffees, this could be the reason he is looking for a permanent move away from the club, rather than spending time out on loan. If he does complete a move to one of these three championship teams, this will be good experience for the 21-year-old. Also during his loan spells he may have adapted to the pace and the way that the game is played in the second tier.

Even though Robinson has played for the United States, he is eligible to play for both England and the US after being born in England with an American father.

Overall, I think this would be a good signing for any of these three clubs.
