Hugo Diaz Rodriguez has departed Leeds United today according to his personal Twitter account.
The Spanish defender (22) was brought in at West Yorkshire in 2017 from Spanish second division side Deportivo B, where he made 8 appearances, then he was loaned out to Silva where he made 14 appearances, all this between 2015 and 2017 before his big move to Leeds United.
During his time with Leeds he has only managed a single appearance, as a substitute in a 1-3 loss to Preston North End at the end of the 2017/18 season.
He has mainly been deployed within a very successful spell for Leeds U23’s squad, winning the PDL Northern League last season and also becoming the overall PDL Champions, beating Birmingham City in the final.
News of his departure is only known through his own Twitter account here, plus his Instagram account.

An exciting prospect for sure, but it will not be with Leeds United.
What do Leeds fans think about this move? Is it better to let the player develop where he has a future or did the player have a future with Leeds in your opinion?
