Fixtures release 2019/20- Five key games for Hull City

The Championship fixtures have been released for the upcoming 2019/20 season. Here are five key games for Hull City-

Swansea City (A) 3rd August- The Tigers kick off their campaign away at the Liberty Stadium in a tricky first fixture. Hull will be led into the new season by a new manager who will lock horns with the new Swans’ boss Steve Cooper on the opening day.

Leeds United (A) 10th December- Hull travel to Elland Road on a Tuesday night. They won this game 2-0 last season courtesy of a brace from Jarrod Bowen and it is always one of the first games to look out for on fixture release day.

Nottingham Forest (H) 26th December- Games come thick and fast during the festive period and Hull did well during it in the last campaign. They were away at Preston North End on Boxing day but will face Forest at the KCOM Stadium this year.

Sheffield Wednesday (A) 1st January- A reunion with Steve Bruce is on the cards on New Year’s Day at Hillsborough. This game will come well into the season and is one for Hull fans to write in the diary.

Cardiff City (A) 2nd May- The campaign ends where it started for the Tigers, in Wales. The final day in the Welsh capital could be massive for either team in this one.
