Aston Villa and Sheffield United eyeing up Blackburn Rovers star

Last week, Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray said that he was “very confident” that star man Bradley Dack would be staying with the club this summer. But now, reports have emerged potentially scuppering his hopes regarding the playmaker’s future.

The Daily Mail has claimed that newly promoted Aston Villa and Sheffield United are both interested in Blackburn Rovers star man Bradley Dack, who is keen to speak to other clubs this summer.

Dack has been attracting interest from a number of clubs over the course of the past season. Fellow Championship side West Brom were keen to sign the playmaker in January, but they had a move for Dack rejected on transfer deadline day. Top flight outfit Brighton and Hove Albion have been credited with interest in the 25-year-old as well.

The report from the Daily Mail writes that Rovers are keen to tie Dack down with a new deal but an offer has not yet been made, leaving Dack to consider his options. In his time at Ewood Park, he has shown that he has the ability to test himself in the top flight, but Mowbray will be determined to keep the former Gillingham man on board as they look to build on last season’s 15th place finish.

The 25-year-old netted an impressive 18 goals across all competitions last season, laying on 10 assists for his teammates as well. His 2018/19 tally takes his Blackburn goal total to 36 goals in 90 games, proving 21 assists along the way.

There have not been any public hints from Dack that he may be wanting to move on from the club this summer, but if Premier League clubs come calling he made find a move away to hard to turn down.
