These seven teams are all reportedly keen, according to the Sun,on signing the star centre back who signed for Bristol City last summer, from Ipswich Town. The Robins signed Webster for a fee of £3.5 million, although that is a fee that could rise to £8 million.

However that is £8 million well spent, as the six ft three centre back was a stand out player in the Championship last season hence all of the interest from Premier League teams. It has been reported that Bristol City are willing to accept offers in excess of £12 million for Webster, however many are saying that the centre half is worth a lot more. Considering the Robins have sold young Lloyd Kelly for a staggering £13 million then I believe that if Webster does depart Ashton Gate, it will be for a lot more that £12 million.

Webster has featured 44 times for the Robins in the one season he has been there. He has only scored four goals for the club, but the fans love him for his midfielder like dribbling and passing out from the back.
