Hogan to leave Premier League side?

Scott Hogan, the Aston Villa forward who has scored seven goals in 56 games for the Villans, has been linked with a move to Championship team Bristol City.

The forward was on loan at Sheffield United last season, another side promoted along with his parent club. During his time at Sheffield United he scored two goals in eight games. Hogan moved to Aston Villa on 31st January 2017, after he had scored 21 goals in 36 games for Brentford.

Bristol City have been looking to sign a proven goalscorer, to help them in their next Championship campaign and Hogan may be the man they have been looking for. The mirror have reported that the out of favour Villa striker had been the subject of interest for Bristol City. The Robins are yet to have made any signings in the summer transfer window leaving fans speculating who they will sign.

The Robins had a good season last time out, they came 8th just narrowly behind Middlesbrough and Derby. This is due to the lack of a clinical striker. Famara Diedhiou scored 13 goals in the league, however he missed the most clear cut chances out of any other forward in the league.
