Aston Villa fans have been enjoying the fact that their number two, John Terry, reportedly turned down the opportunity to join West Brom as manager before they appointed Slaven Bilic.

The Times report claims that The Baggies had their eye on Terry to become their new number one at The Hawthorns this summer but the former Chelsea legend refused to even talk to them about the position.

John Terry will be donning the dugouts of the Premier League this coming season following Aston Villa’s promotion from The Championship via the play-offs last time out, and Dean Smith will be very reluctant to see the former England centre back leave this summer having brought him in as his assistant as soon as he took over at Villa Park.

There are plenty more to look through as the Villa fans have found a real source of entertainment here. Geographic rivalry and oneupmanship obviously have much to play between the two sides and their relevant fanbases.
