Thomas Kalas, the Chelsea centre back who has only featured on two occasions for the club, has been a big talking point for many clubs in the summer transfer window so far.

The Czech Republic player has been linked to many teams, one being Bristol City where he was on loan last season along with fellow Chelsea players Kasey Palmer and Jay Da Silva.

Bristol City fans fell in love with the 26 year old, who impressed last year with an amazing partnership with Adam Webster. Kalas is currently on holiday in Dubai which leaves fans waiting nervously to find out who will sign the 6ft centre half.

Kalas has also said that a move away from Chelsea may be better for his future after only playing two times for the Blues in eight years. For each year of the eight that Kalas has been at Chelsea m, he has spent time on loan to other clubs including, Middlesbrough, Fulham and Vitesse.

Bristol City fans are hopeful that their club will get this deal over the line along with fellow Chelsea loanee Jay Da Silva, who was great at left back last season. The pair featured in most games for the Robins playing a total of 66 appearances combined. (Kalas 38, Da Silva 28)

City do have the money to spend after recently selling Lloyd Kelly to Bournemouth for a staggering £13 Million pounds! If they do manage to sign Kalas, it will leave the Robins fans excited for what the future holds.
