Poole began his professional career with Newport County, before being snapped up by Premier League giants Manchester United in 2015. He found first-team opportunites limited at Old Trafford and enjoyed loan spells with Northampton Town and former club Newport, where he featured far more frequently on the pitch than he did whilst with his parent club.
