Hull City interested in Scotland international left-back

Hull City are interested in Kilmarnock left-back Greg Taylor.

The 21-year-old has emerged as a target for the Tigers, as per a report by the Daily Record.

Taylor, who made his Scotland debut earlier this week against Belgium, is a man in-demand this summer and is also being linked with Celtic and Rangers.

Manager-less Hull are in the hunt for some reinforcements over the coming months to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming Championship campaign.

Taylor started his career at Rangers and rose up through the youth ranks at Ibrox. He never made a senior appearance for the Glasgow side and left to join Kilmarnock in 2014.

He has been a key player for Killie ever since and has played over 100 games for them. However, the Scottish Premiership side will face a battle to hold onto him this summer.

Hull signed Liverpool star Andy Robertson from Dundee United in 2015 and are hoping to replicate that successful transfer coup by signing Taylor.

The Tigers’ hunt for a new manager continues. Lincoln City’s Danny Cowley remains the favourite ahead of the likes of Tony Pennock, Michael Appleton, Paul Heckingbottom and Liam Rosenior, as reported earlier by The72.

The managerial vacancy hasn’t stopped transfer rumours flooding in for Hull with their head of recruitment, Lee Darnborough, working behind the scenes to highlight potential signings.

Delving into Scotland, Leagues One and Two appears to be the market for the Tigers over the coming months.
