Huddersfield Town keen on Ipswich Town defender

Huddersfield Town are keen on Ipswich Town defender Dylan Crowe.

The Terriers have already had a bid rejected for the youngster, as per a report by TWTD.

Huddersfield are preparing for life back in the Championship next season following their relegation from the Premier League and could target young players this summer.

Crowe joined Ipswich Town at the age of 12 and rose through the youth ranks at Portman Road. He is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Tractor Boys but has been a key player for their youth sides over the past couple of seasons.

He is highly-rated by Ipswich and is being tipped for a big future at the club. However, the League One side will have to brace themselves for moves for him over the coming months.

Crowe has found himself on the radar of the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and some European giants after impressing at the Under 17 European Championships last summer where he helped England win the trophy. However, Huddersfield are looking to jump in ahead of other sides and snap him up.

Ipswich will have to balance the books this summer and offload some players. Crowe is one they would like to keep as he could play a part for Paul Lambert’s side in the third tier next season. However, holding onto him amid interest from Huddersfield could be a tall order.
