Leicester City weighing up move for Luton Town full-back

Leicester City are weighing up a move for Luton Town full-back James Justin.

The Foxes are looking at the highly-rated defender as a potential summer signing, as per a report by the Daily Mail.

Luton could face a real battle to hold onto Justin this summer with the likes of Stoke City and West Brom also being linked with a move.

Justin, who is 21 years-old, played a key role in the Hatters’ winning the League One title last season and gaining promotion to the Championship. He played 52 games in all competitions, chipping in with two goals.

He has also won Luton’s Young Player of the Season for the past two seasons running and also got into the League One PFA Team of the Year for the last campaign.

Justin was born in Luton and joined his local side in 2005. He rose through the youth ranks at Kenilworth Road and made his first-team debut in a League Two game against Exeter City in 2016.

He has since racked up over 100 games for the Hatters, despite only being 21 and has helped them gain back-to-back promotions from League One to the Championship.

Leicester are in the hunt for some defensive reinforcements and Justin is on their radar as Brendan Rodgers scouts the Football League for talent.

Luton fans and their new manager, Graeme Jones, will be eager to keep hold of their star full-back but it will be tough amid Premier League interest from the Foxes.
