Five Hull City youngsters who will play a key part next season

Hull City have made a pathway for academy players to get into the first-team over recent seasons. Here are five of their youngsters to watch out for next season-

Daniel Batty- The 21-year-old midfielder made his breakthrough into the first-team last season and played 29 games in all competitions. Next season is a big one for him and he could establish himself as a key player if some of Hull’s other central midfielders leave this summer.

Robbie McKenzie- He is likely to play even more games in the next campaign. McKenzie is versatile and can play at both right-back and centre-back. He enjoyed plenty of action last season and played 21 times.

Brandon Fleming- The 19-year-old made seven appearances last season and is expected to play a key role in the next campaign. The highly-rated left-back will be looking to compete with Stephen Kingsley for that spot.

Max Sheaf- He came off the bench during the Tigers’ last game of the season against Bristol City and also made two appearances in cup competitions. The 19-year-old is highly thought off in the Hull ranks and has been a key player for their Under-23’s over the past couple of years.

Keane Lewis-Potter- The striker made his first-team debut for Hull in January in an FA Cup tie away at Millwall. The 18-year-old was prolific for the Under-23’s and will play a part next season. He has recently enjoyed a loan spell in the National League North with Bradford Park Avenue.

Hull have signed youngsters Lucas Odunston and Ryan Hanson from Leeds United and Crystal Palace respectively, as reported by The72 earlier today.
