Hull City striker Jarrod Bowen has been voted by you as the 11th best player in the EFL.
Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have discovered you think that Bowen is the 11th best player in the Football League. This is the first time that he has been on the Top 50 Players countdown.
That last bit of the previous paragraph will be surprising to many as I think most would agree that Bowen’s break out season was last year. But Hull fans might have been happy to see that he wasn’t getting the attention he probably deserved, after all, attention would bring suitors who lure him to their club. Last season’s form meant that Hull fans were very excited to see what Bowen was capable of this year and they were definitely not disappointed.
Bowen proved himself to not only be one of the top strikers in the Sky Bet Championship but one of the top young strikers in the country and someone who will surely end up with an England cap sooner rather than later. Even though the Tigers ended up in mid-table, Bowen was still scoring goals and making sure they didn’t drop further down the table. In the 46 appearances he made this season, Bowen scored 22 goals, making him the joint 6th top scorer in the division. If Hull can keep hold of him, he could get even better next season.
