Hull City are interested in Liverpool midfielder Herbie Kane.
The Tigers have drawn up a list of potential summer targets and the 20-year-old is one they will monitor, as per a report by Hull Live.
Kane, who is a former England Under-17 international, has spent this season on loan at League One side Doncaster Rovers and has impressed for Grant McCann’s side.
He has played 47 games in all competitions for Donny, chipping in with seven goals. He has played a key part in them getting into the Play-Offs in the third tier.
Kane was born in Bristol and started his career at Bristol City before he was snapped up by Liverpool when he was 15.
He is highly-rated by Liverpool but could be sent out on loan again for next season, most likely this time in the Championship to further his development.
Hull will be busy this summer as they look to strengthen their side. They have a number of first-team players who are out of contract to replace such as David Marshall, Evandro and Fraizer Campbell. Nigel Adkins’ side will also need replacements for loan players like Todd Kane, Chris Martin and Marc Pugh who all have gone back to their parent clubs.
The Tigers’ transfer policy of late has been signing young and hungry players so Kane fits the bill in that sense. Could he be one coming through the KCOM Stadium doors this summer?
