PREVIEW: Brentford v Preston North End

Brentford and Preston North End meet at Griffin Park in the Sky Bet Championship this afternoon in a game which means very little to either side.

Both clubs have 61 points on the board with The Bees in 12th position and The Lilywhites 13th in the league table.

Brentford go into the match with doubts over both Yoann Barbet and Lewis Macleod and both players could have their fitness assessed before kick-off. The West Londoners are expected to welcome Henrik Dalsgaard back after suspension while Romaine Sawyers is also expected to play after recovering from a knock.

Preston North End make the long trip south without any new injuries to contend with. Ryan Ledson continues to serve a suspension while Ben Pearson has now completed his ban and could be considered for a starting place.

Brentford have been in good form on their own turf of late, They’ve collected seven points from an available nine which includes a 2-0 victory over promotion-chasing Leeds United last time out. The same cannot be said about Preston North End’s away record. They have lost all of their last three on their travels and will not be fancied to collect three points at Griffin Park this afternoon.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm and will not be screened on live television.
