Colchester United face Grimsby Town at the JobServe Community Stadium this afternoon with the club in desperate need of three points.

The U’s Sky Bet League Two play-off hopes have been fading in recent weeks with John McGreal’s side in poor form and another defeat would virtually end their chances of a top seven finish.

Out of form Grimsby Town are the visitors to Essex this afternoon. The Mariners haven’t won for nine matches but have reached the 50-point marker which has ensured their English Football League place for another season.
