Norwich City’s Sky Bet Championship title hopes have suffered a minor setback with The Canaries having only drawn 2-2 with Reading at Carrow Road this evening.
Yakou Meite had given the visitors a surprise lead before late goals from Ben Godfrey and Christoph Zimmermann had looked to have turned the game in Norwich City’s favour. There was to be a further twist deep in injury time when Andy Rinomhota scrambled in a 97th-minute equaliser for The Royals.
After the match, Norwich City fans took to Twitter to give their views on the result. With the club still six points clear at the top of the Sky Bet Championship, there was still plenty of positivity amongst the Norwich City faithful.
Not bad point. Lets not forgot Rhodes massive chance to make it 3-1 he had to score. #canarycall #ncfc

Dissapointing to not take 3 points tonight but certainly not the worst performance of the season. Think Reading deserve a lot of credit as well Still 6pts clear at top. On to Wigan. #ncfc #CanaryCall

I mean it would have been amazingly ridiculous if we’d won that, and with a Zimbo goal, but we’re still 9 games undefeated and in good form. It will all be fine! #NCFC #CanaryCall

Can’t help but be a bit disappointed. But can we talk about how good their goal keeper was?! We could have had 3 or 4 more of it wasn’t for his great saves. Still 6 points clear of 2nd and 7 of third! On to Wigan!! #canarycall #OTBC 💛💚

Reading came with a game plan which worked brilliantly, so fair play to them. Not quite at our best, but we showed good spirit to the death. Incredible scenes in the River End when Zimbo scored with 2 min left. #OTBC #NCFC #CanaryCall

Back on the train to London in a stunned mood. What an effort and consistent of this season's heroics for #NCFC to get back in front. We've been so good of late in seeing games out so didn't see a last ditch equaliser coming. Still very proud of the team for many reasons. #OTBC

In fairness to Reading they came with a game plan executed it quite well considering where they are in the table we missed our usual 2/3 good chances and paid the price at the end not really anything to lose any sleep over 💛💚OTBC

Wow, What an end to the game, very disappointed not to win in the end, tough to take but it’s a point towards promotion. We move on! #RoadToPromotion #otbc #ncfc 🔰💚💛

All that matters is that we are still 7 points clear of third #NCFC #OTBC
