Aston Villa and West Brom are being linked with a move for Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden this summer.

The 24-year-old wants to leave the Premier League this summer for personal reasons. Bristol City are also being linked with a swoop for him, as per a report by Bristol Live.

Hayden started his career at Southend United as a youngster but moved to Arsenal in 2008. He went onto play twice for the Gunners’ first-team.

He got his first taste of regular game time on loan at Hull City for the 2015/16 season under Steve Bruce. He helped the Tigers gain promotion to the Premier League during his stint at the KCOM Stadium and played 24 games for them in all competitions.

He played 26 times in the Premier League last season and has made 23 appearances in this campaign. His contract expires in 2021 but he is keen to leave this summer. Newcastle are willing to let him depart but want a replacement.
