Peterborough United midfielder “100%” set on permanent move to loan club

Peterborough United midfielder Mark O’Hara has said that he is “a hundred percent” set on a permanent move to loan club Lincoln City at the end of the 2018/19 season.

Speaking to The Stacey West, Lincoln City’s loaned in midfielder Mark O’Hara has expressed his desire to make a permanent move from Peterborough United to The Imps at the end of the season.

O’Hara only joined Peterborough United at the start of the current season but fell out of favour under former boss Steve Evans prior to Christmas after a strong start to life in a Posh shirt.

Since joining Lincoln City on loan for the rest of the season in January, the Scotsman has made a good impression at Sincil Bank, with the club not losing a single League One game when he has played. O’Hara has featured for the club 11 times, netting once and providing three assists (Transfermarkt).

O’Hara discussed how much he has enjoyed his time with Lincoln in an interview with The Stacey West, saying:

“I’ve absolutely loved it, there’s a lot to take in and a lot of small, fine details to get to know when you’re working with the guys. I feel as though I’m getting there now, I understand the players and understand how the manager’s working. I’ve loved every second, I’m really enjoying myself.”

He went on to add that he is fully focused on getting The Imps promoted when asked if he had been contacted by Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson.

“Not at all. My focus is firmly here right now and the target is getting Lincoln promoted.”

O’Hara then answered the question on the lips of all Lincoln fans, does he want to join the club permanently?

 “A hundred percent,” He replied.

“I’ve actually spoke to the manager this week, I’ve loved every second, so hopefully, that’ll be something that gets sorted.”
