Norwich City set sights on summer move for Olympiacos winger

Norwich City have been linked with a move for Olympiacos winger Giorgos Masouras.

The Canaries are apparently monitoring the Greece international ahead of a potential summer move, as per a report by the East Anglian Daily Times.

The 25-year-old only joined Olympiacos in the January transfer window from fellow Greek Super League side Panionios but is already being touted for a move away this summer.

Masouras has impressed this season and has scored a combined 10 goals in 27 appearances from both the clubs he has played for.

He started his career at Ilisiakos and rose through their youth ranks. Masouras was then snapped up by Panionios in 2014 and went onto play just under 150 games for them during his time at the Nea Smyrni Stadium.

Norwich City are currently top of the Championship and have their sights set on the Premier League. There are eight games to play of the season and Daniel Farke’s side are four points ahead of Sheffield United in second and five above Leeds United in third.

If the Canaries do return to the top flight in May there is no doubt they will be linked with plenty of players with Farke’s side likely to bolster their squad over the summer.

Masouras is one of the first names to be linked with the East Anglian side and won’t be last with more names expected over the coming weeks and months.
