According to the Bristol Post, Bristol City will pursue deals for Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombalonga, Aston Villa’s loaned out forward Scott Hogan and Bolton loanee Joe Williams in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the Bristol Post that Bristol City could revive their interest in Middlesbrough forward Britt Assombalonga, Sheffield United loanee Scott Hogan and Bolton Wanderers midfielder Joe Williams – who is currently on loan from Premier League side Everton.

The Robins were interested in the Championship trio during the January transfer window. Now, it has been said that they could make moves in the summer.

Britt Assombalonga was linked with a move away from Middlesbrough during the transfer window and Bristol City were one of the sides linked. Manager Lee Johnson failed to rule out a possible move for the former Peterborough United striker and he could look to move in again.

Aston Villa striker Hogan was also on the radar of City, along with a number of other Championship sides. He ended up moving to Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season and he could be on the move again this summer, with City reportedly keen.

Johnson admitted that he was interested in a possible move for Bolton Wanderers midfielder Joe Williams – who has impressed during his time on loan from Everton.

City had a strong January as far as recruitment is concerned, bringing in a number of players to reinforce the squad ahead of the rest of the season. However, Johnson was keen to bring in a striker. Heading into the summer window, a striker is highly likely to be on his radar again.
