The start of the new football season is now less than a week away. Brighton kick off their campaign at home to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 9th August.
Having finished the last two seasons in the Play-Offs crashing out on both occasions in the Semi’s, could this be the year Brighton
finally reach the play-off final or perhaps go one better and win automatic promotion? I for one am excited for the season,
no matter what the outcome will be.
I’ve compiled 6 reasons for Albion fans to get themselves excited for what is sure to be a roller-coaster of a long 9 month ride!

  1. I couldn't agree more Shan, the returning CMS will be like a new signing after all that time out. Also if the rumours are true, Clayton will be a great addition to the squad.

  2. As much as I like your optimism, I think we will struggle to push for the Premier League this season. It is a lot to expect such key changes to gel that quickly! Still, if Macca can get back to his best ,you never know……
