Hull City striker unsure about his future at the club- “I’ve no idea”

Hull City striker Fraizer Campbell is unsure about his future at the KCOM Stadium.

The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season. The club have apparently opted against activating an option for a further year in his contract.

This would mean Campbell would leave the Tigers on a free transfer in June. He re-joined the club in the summer of 2017 on a two-year deal.

Campbell has scored 11 goals for Hull in this campaign, building on the six he got last season.

The ex-Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace forward has admitted he is unsure about his Hull future, as per a report by Hull Live: “I’ve no idea. There was an optional year in my contract which the club have decided not to take up so I’m in limbo”

“I enjoy playing so if they want me to stay and play football I’ll do that, but if not I’ll go elsewhere and play football with a smile on my face”

Campbell also added: “I’m knocking on now so you have just got to play as much football as you can until you can’t do it anymore. I’m not naïve enough to think they owe me anything. They don’t. It’s how it is in football, it’s cut throat, If I’m here I’ll be happy, if not I’ll be happy somewhere else”.

It looks set to be an interesting summer ahead at Hull with key first-team players like Campbell, David Marshall and Evandro all out of contract.
