Rochdale are still in the hunt for a replacement for Keith Hill. Here is an updated five potential candidates for the job-
Ian Evatt- The former Blackpool and Chesterfield defender remains one of the frontrunners for the vacant position. He has impressed in his first full season in management in this campaign with National League side Barrow.
Paul Hurst- He is another serious candidate. The ex-Grimsby Town and Shrewsbury Town boss has been available since he was sacked by Championship side Ipswich Town in October and could return to the dugout now at Spotland.
Brain Barry-Murphy- The 40-year-old is currently in caretaker charge of Rochdale and is an option. The former midfielder was their first-team coach under Keith Hill. If he does well during his spell in charge could he bag the full-time job?
Darrell Clarke- The 41-year-old departed fellow third tier side Bristol Rovers in December and is in the hunt for a new job. He is a highly-rated young boss but it could prove hard for Rochdale to lure him to Spotland.
Kevin Nolan– The former West Ham United and Newcastle United midfielder has been linked with a lot of jobs this season but is still without a club. He has managed Leyton Orient and most recently Notts County.
