Millwall take on Preston at The Den on Saturday afternoon looking for back to back league league wins for the first time in 2019. 

Victory against Frank Lampard’s Derby County side on Wednesday lifted The Lions to 19th in the Championship table. Five points clear of the bottom three with a game in hand.

Next up for Neil Harris’s men is Preston North End. A team Millwall haven’t beaten since 2011.

Millwall will welcome back Alex Pearce to the squad, he was unable to play against his parent club Derby in midweek. He looks set to return to the match-day squad.

Right back Conor McLaughlin will miss out, the Northern Ireland international has been out with a quad injury. Tom Bradshaw is a long term absentee and Millwall don’t expect him to play again this season. Neil Harris has no new injury concerns ahead of the game. However, with a packed fixture schedule he may choose to rotate his squad.

Preston also have no fresh injury worries. However, strikers Louis Moult and Callum Robinson will both miss the game with hamstring injuries. Goalkeeper Connor Ripley has an ankle injury and will miss out. Both Billy Bodin and Josh Harrop are out with ACL injures.
