Aston Villa produced a stunning late comeback last night against Sheffield United at Villa Park.
Dean Smith’s side were 3-0 down to the Blades after Billy Sharp bagged a hat-trick but were able to fight their way back into the game into the last eight minutes.
Sections of the crowd left after Sharp’s third and the three points looked a formality for the promotion-chasing Blades.
However, goals from new signing Tyrone Mings, the in-form Tammy Abraham and a last-gasp header from Andre Green header sealed a breath taking comeback for the Midlands side.
Smith’s men have risen to 8th in the Championship and are three points off the Play-Offs going into today’s fixtures.
The late comeback will give their players confidence that they can make a push into the top six before the end of the season.
Sheffield United, on the other hand, will be devastated with their collapse in the late stages of a game which looked like they had already won. The Blades would have gone top of the table with a win. Here is how their fans reacted to the 3-3 draw, as reported by The72.

I'm angry. I'm ecstatic. I'm fuming. I'm screaming. I'm confused. I'm cheering. I'm appalled. I'm smiling. I'm utterly baffled.

Terrible 80 mins but terrible decision to award that second goal. A draw that feels like a win #avfc
