Predicted Hull City starting XI against Derby County

Hull City travel to Pride Park today to face Derby County looking to close the gap between them and the Play-Offs. Here is a predicted starting XI for the Tigers-

GK- David Marshall- The experienced goalkeeper saved a penalty for City last time out against Stoke City.

RB- Todd Kane- The Chelsea loanee is in great form at the moment and has made the right-back spot his own.

CB- Robbie McKenzie- Reece Burke and Jordy de Wijs are still expected to be ruled out with injury so it will be another great opportunity for the youngster.

CB- Eric Lichaj- Liam Ridgewell could be handed his debut but Adkins is more likely to go for Lichaj in the centre of defence after he impressed there last weekend.

LB- Stephen Kingsley- His performances go under the radar somewhat but he is a very important player for the Tigers.

RM- Jarrod Bowen- The 22-year-old has already matched his goal tally from last season (15) and will be looking to add to it today against Derby.

CM- Markus Henriksen- City’s captain will be hoping his teammates to another positive result.

CM- Kevin Stewart- The 2017 summer recruit from Liverpool has turned out to become a key player for Adkins’ side.

LM- Kamil Grosicki- The Poland international scored against Stoke and will be looking to cause problems for Derby.

CAM- Jackson Irvine- It’s a tough decision for Adkins to pick between Irvine and Evandro but I think he’ll go for the energy of Irvine in midfield against the Rams.

ST- Fraizer Campbell- Chris Martin can’t play against his parent club meaning Campbell is likely to start. Nouha Dicko will have a place in the squad.
