“I’m ecstatic about the new challenge ahead”- Marc Pugh on Hull City move

Marc Pugh has signed for Hull City on loan for the rest of the season from AFC Bournemouth, as announced by the Tigers’ official website.

The experienced winger will wear the number eight shirt for the Yorkshire side.

After making the move to the KCOM Stadium today, Pugh told Hull’s website: ” “I’m ecstatic about the new challenge ahead. I’ve met the gaffer and the rest of the squad and the team unity is something that shone through straight away.”

“The team has been on a great run recently and it is a team that fights for each other all the way. I’m really looking forward to being a part of that.”

Pugh joined Bournemouth in 2010 from Hereford United and went onto become a huge player for the Cherries. He has played over 300 games for them and was a key player in their rise to the Premier League.

However, the 31-year-old has fallen down the pecking order this season for Eddie Howe’s side and has only played three times, all of which have come in the cup. Therefore, he will be relishing this loan opportunity at Hull in the Championship.

Here is how the Hull fans have reacted on Twitter to signing Marc Pugh-
