I remember watching a diving competition when American Greg Louganis rotated in a dive, cracked his head on the platform and dropped like a stone. Bit like what has just happened at the Stoke City vs Leeds United game (tweet – below).
HAHAHAHAHA WTF WAS THAT #LUFC pic.twitter.com/1CyYwwRJPE

I know that Leeds United have had previous with dives, you only have to think of Brazilian Adryran rolling around like a salmon trying to leap a weir to head to spawning grounds.
Whilst this dive is hardly of the Adryan ‘Fallon D’Floor’ winning quality, it is blatant nonetheless. You can just about see Pablo Hernandez’s shadow fall across the Stoke player, who reacts like he’s been shot from close range.
You even get the legs scooting out from under him, it couldn’t have been drawn any more hackneyed by a Disney artist. It was that obvious, compounded by being right under the nose of the linesman, that it should have been a Leeds United goal kick all day long.
Free-kick to Stoke City. Of course it was, and Leeds United fans were very quick to comment on the post itself.
Leeds United fans comment after Stoke City dive earns 9.8 rating
