Rams in hunt for Blackburn forward Leon Best

According the Derby Telegraph Derby County’s hunt for a new forward could see case their eye over to Blackburn Rovers’ Leon Best.

The 27-year-old Republic of Ireland international is being heavily linked with the Rams after it is believed contract as been made between the two clubs about the Striker which is rumoured to be a loan deal.

A forward is on the shopping list for the Rams after they showed interest in trying to attract Lukas Jutkiewicz before he moved to Premiership new boys Burnley.

Since his £3m deal to Blackburn Rovers Best has played 13 games only scoring 2 goals since signing a 4-year-deal.

Galloway heading to Goodison

After breaking the bank for Belgium Romelu Lukaku the Mirror are reporting Everton manager Roberto Martinez has now turned his attentions to luring MK Dons starlet Brendan Galloway to Goodison Park.

Galloway is at present involved in a contract disagreement at the Dons with the Stadium:MK club desperate to get an appropriate compensation for their home-grown talent, the figure in question is believed to be at £1m figure.

 Wolves dig heels in on Batth

A report printed by the Shropshire Star claimed Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert was preparing a £5m move for 23-year-old centre-back Danny Batth .

however in light of these rumours Wolves see Batth as a fundamental part of the new era at the club and will not welcome any interest in the fans’ favourite.

Batth who signed a three-and-a-half-year contract in January, is seen as an key player in Kenny Jackett’s side, and is also a symbol of the a reborn Wolves side where academy players can see a legitimate way into the first team if working hard enough.
