Out of favour Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola is thought to be being watched by at least one Italian top flight club who could launch a move for his services during this month’s transfer window according to reports by Birmingham Live.
The 24-year-old Newham-born midfielder is currently enjoying a second loan spell with Ladbrokes Premiership club Kilmarnock and the player’s form has been one of the factors behind the club’s successful campaign so far.
The prospect of Tshibola making another appearance for parent club Aston Villa in the future looks rather slim. With Villa likely to be keen to sell the midfielder, it has been suggested that at least one Serie A club could be tracking Tshibola’s progress throughout his loan stay at Kilmarnock.
It is being reported that Villa could receive a surprise bid for Tshibola’s services during this month’s transfer window and should any offer be accepted, the player’s loan spell at Rugby Park could be terminated so that he can move to Italy.
Aston Villa signed Tshibola from Sky Bet Championship rivals Reading in summer 2016 for an undisclosed fee. The player still has 18 months to run on his current deal at Villa Park. The midfielder has made just 10 first team appearances for Villa in which he has scored one goal.
Tshibola was loaned out to both MK Dons and Nottingham Forest prior to his two spells with Killie, although neither of those moves really saw the player hit his best form.
