Blackburn Rovers star shuts down links to West Brom and Tottenham Hotspur

Blackburn Rovers playmaker Bradley Dack has committed himself to the club as the January transfer window opens. The Rovers star has been heavily linked with Spurs after a strong start to the season, with West Brom also considering following up on their Summer interest in the former Gillingham man.

Despite Dack’s comments, it wouldn’t be surprising if speculation ramps up once again. The playmaker’s form in the first half of the Championship season is bound to have caught the eyes of potential suitors.

“I’m committed to the club, I love playing for this club. I’m not wanting to leave,” Dack told the Lancashire Telegraph.

“It’s something I’ve not thought about and will keep my head down and concentrate on playing good football for Rovers. Every window there is speculation, it’s something I don’t take notice of unless the gaffer pulls me in and says something to me.

“I can’t see that happening.”

Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray also spoke to the Lancashire Telegraph to discuss the future of star man Dack, insisting that he is confident that the midfielder will remain at Ewood Park beyond the end of January.

“Bradley is happy, he likes the group. But there is a balance of course. We have to show Bradley that we are going to progress as a football club at some stage because he is too good to be languishing in the middle of the Championship, his quality deserves to play in the Premier League one day.

“We would strive to progress as quickly as we can within the next year or so and hopefully Bradley is happy to come along on the journey.

“What I do know is that he enjoys the company of his team-mates, works hard very day in training, is a lovely guy, has lovely feet and can finish.”
