Sheffield United set to swoop in for Norwich City winger Yanic Wildschut on loan at Bolton Wanderers, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Sheffield United set to swoop in for Norwich City winger Yanic Wildschut, who is currently on loan at Bolton Wanderers in the Championship.
Alan Nixon tweeted: “SHEFF U. Odd one. Keen on Yanic Wildschut at NORWICH. Currently bombed out at BOLTON. May swap loan clubs and head for Blades as squad man.”
About Yanic Wildschut – Wildschut represented a number of youth sides before signing for Ajax’s Academy setup. In 2013 the winger joined Heerenveen, ahead of moving to ADO Den Haag on a loan deal the following January.The winger moved to England at the start of 2014, agreeing terms with Middlesbrough for who he scored twice in 11 league appearances. He impressed during a loan spell at Wigan in 2015, Wildschut completed a permanent move to the club in January 2016. His performances played a key role in Wigan’s promotion to the Championship where he won the Sky Bet League One title with Wigan. Wildschut scored four times in 25 league matches before moving to Norwich. He signed for Norwich in a £7m deal before finishing last season in South Wales.
