Sheffield United are closing in on the loan signing of Everton midfielder Kieran Dowell, as per a report by the Sheffield Star.

The Blades are already plotting potential signings ahead of the upcoming January transfer window. Although Chris Wilder’s side may not have much money to spend, they are still going to delve into the loan market to bolster their squad.

Dowell, who is 21 years-old, is being allowed to leave Premier League side Everton on loan to gain some more first-team experience.
