Hull City have extended their impressive run of form with a 2-0 win over Brentford at the KCOM Stadium this afternoon.
Two first-half goals from Fraizer Campbell has sent the Tigers faithful home happy.
Hull have now lost just once in eight games and are starting to climb up the Championship table.
Brentford travelled to East Yorkshire today in poor form and were looking to get their campaign back on track but another defeat means pressure will be mounting on their manager Thomas Frank already.
Hull took the lead after 12 minutes after Campbell got on the end of Kamil Grosicki’s miss-hit shot and slotted the ball home past Brentford ‘keeper Daniel Bentley.
The hosts then doubled their lead ten minutes later through Campbell again. The in-form striker got his 8th of the season when he passed the ball into the net after Bentley parried a Grosicki effort.
That was enough to earn Nigel Adkins’ side a valuable three points. Next up for the Tigers is another home fixture against Swansea City followed by away trips to Preston North End and Leeds United over the festive period. Can they give their fans more Christmas cheer?

Big three points, 5 clear of the relegation zone, clean sheet, 1 defeat in 8, above Sheffield Wednesday, happy days apart from a few idiotic fans booing Moses 🐯🙌 #hcafc

What a shockingly negative performance….but a 2-0 win because their defence was a mistake waiting to happen! #hcafc
