Hull City will be looking to extend their decent run of form against Brentford at the KCOM Stadium today. Here is a predicted starting XI for the Tigers-
GK- David Marshall- He has impressed for City this season between the sticks. His contract expires at the end of the season which is a slight worry.
RB- Todd Kane- Injuries have hit the Tigers’ backline so there is likely to be another defensive reshuffle with Kane slotting in at full-back.
CB- Tommy Elphick- The Aston Villa loanee will be looking to keep Brentford’s Neal Maupay at bay.
CB- Ondrej Mazuch- The Czech Republic international is set for his first start of the season.
LB- Brandon Fleming- The 18-year-old impressed against Millwall last week and Nigel Adkins could give him another start.
RM- Jarrod Bowen- There is expected to be some Premier League interest in him next month. He has scored 21 goals in the past season-and-a-half.
CM- Markus Henriksen- City’s captain is enjoying himself at the moment and has scored two goals in his past two games. Can he make it three in three today?
CM- Daniel Batty- The 21-year-old has impressed in the middle of the park for the Tigers this season and looks a real prospect.
CM- Jackson Irvine- The Australian international scored in this fixture in the last campaign.
LM- Kamil Grosicki- The tricky winger is enjoying a run in the starting XI and bagged away at Millwall last Saturday.
ST- Frazier Campbell- He won the Tigers’ Player of the Month award for November.
