Millwall start their festive run in this weekend with a trip to Deepdale to face Preston North End.

Neil Harris has no new injury concerns as Millwall look for their first away win of the season and first since April.

Shaun Williams who has damaged his ankle ligaments and Tom Bradshaw who is out for the season are the only two absentees.

Millwall will be looking to pick up their first win in seven Championship games after failing to see out a 2-1 lead against Hull City last weekend. That would have felt like a defeat to Harris and his team but it did do enough to help them out of the relegation zone.

There were rumours before that game that Millwall would be without all five of their senior strikers but Steve Morison, Lee Gregory, Aiden O’Brien and Tom Elliott all played a part against Hull. I expect the same this weekend.

Both Lee Gregory and Aiden O’Brien scored last week and look set to keep their places in the team. Tom Elliott had seemed to have claimed the starting berth from Steve Morison before injury but with a hectic schedule imminent Harris may wish to stick Steve Morison partnering Lee Gregory.

Potential Changes

Steve Morison: OUT , Tom Elliot IN – I do not think Neil Harris will make any changes but if he is to make one then I think this will be the one.

They face a Preston side who after a slow start have lost just once in eleven games. Their manager Alex Neil does have injury problems. Brandon Barker, Callum Robinson, Sean Maguire, Billy Bodin and Josh Harrop are all out. However, Ben Perason is available.

Predicted Millwall XI

Archer; Romeo, Hutchinson, Cooper, Meredith, J Wallace, Tunnicliffe, Leonard, O’Brien; Gregory, Morison.
