Hull City are keen to keep hold of Jarrod Bowen in the January transfer window, according to Hull Live.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League next month but the Tigers will not welcome any approaches for the winger.
Bowen burst onto the scene for Hull last season and has established himself as one of their key players. He scored 15 goals in the last campaign and has bagged six so far this season.
He signed for the Yorkshire side in 2014 from non-league Hereford and has turned out to be an inspired signing. Bowen made his debut for Hull in a League Cup tie away to Exeter City in August 2016.
The Tigers’ boss, Nigel Adkins, has said, ““We’re not looking for him to leave. He’s just got to keep playing and working hard. January will be January. The question will get asked all the way through but as far as I’m aware we’ve not had any bids for him”.
He also added, ““We’ll just see what happens during the course of the January window but we’re not actively looking for Jarrod to move on”.
Scouts from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Everton, who are managed by ex-Hull boss Marco Silva, were reportadely keeping an eye on Bowen at City’s recent Championship away fixture against QPR, as reported by The72.
Fulham and Cardiff City are the latest clubs to be linked this week. Hull fans will be praying they keep hold of Bowen next month.
