Stoke City’s big earning midfielder shown the door and offered to three Turkish clubs

Stoke City are keen to get big earning midfielder Badou Ndiaye off their books in the January transfer window, and have offered him to three Turkish clubs.

Turkish site Fotospor are reporting that Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye has been offered to Turkish Super Lig trio Galatasaray, Besiktas and Trabzonspor.

Midfielder Ndiaye only joined Stoke City in the last January transfer window, but looks set to return to Turkey with his spell in England looking like it has come to a dead end. Arriving for £14 million on transfer deadline day, Ndiaye came in to try and help The Potters steer clear of relegation to the Championship last season.

However, the midfielder couldn’t stop Stoke City’s relegation in his 13 Premier League appearances, and the dropped to the second tier of English football.

Upon Stoke’s relegation, Ndiaye’s future was instantly thrown into the air. A move to the Premier League was reported and a move back to Turkey was also a possibility. He ended up returning to former club Galatasaray in a loan deal, and the midfielder has made eight appearances for the Turkish side in the first half of this season.

The Senegal international midfielder’s loan deal doesn’t run out until the end of the season, but Stoke are keen to move him on permanently as soon as they can, with him burning a hole in the pocket of the club. Potters’ chances of an instant return back to the Premier League are looking very slim, so they are keen to get some of the club’s highest earners off the books with another season in the Championship looking likely.
