Leeds United face South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United in just under an hour’s time. It’s a game that pitches 2nd place Leeds vs the place Blades.

Leeds come into the game of off the back of a hard-fought 1-0 win last time out at Elland Road against a struggling Reading side. That victory made it back-to-back wins for the Whites at home, a 2-0 win against 10-man Bristol City the game before.

United will head to Bramall Lane to face a consistent, and hard-to-beat, Sheffield United side under Chris Wilder. The Blades are on a decent run of form with just one loss in their last six games and are unbeaten in their last three encounters.

Today’s line-up shows just the one change as the influential Pontus Jansson comes back into the side after injury, replacing Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker who drops to the bench. It is a bench that bears testament to Marcelo Bielsa’s faith in youth, with four Under-23 players named amongst the subs.
