Hull City held top of the league Norwich City to a 0-0 draw at the KCOM Stadium last night.
The Tigers were looking to bounce back from their 2-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday with a positive result against the Canaries and did well to contain Daniel Farke’s high flying side.
Norwich travelled to East Yorkshire last night in confident mood after winning their previous six games in the league. They had also scored four goals in each of their past three games so all signs pointed towards an away win with Hull in the relegation zone.
However, the Tigers put it a battling performance and kept out the in-form visitors.
It was a quiet start to the game but Hull ‘keeper David Marshall did well to deny efforts from Alex Tettey and Tom Trybull on 35 minutes.
Jackson Irvine and Jarrod Bowen had half chances for the hosts in the second-half but Trybull could have won it for Norwich after heading narrowly wide from six yards.
The point keeps promotion hopefuls Norwich top of the league above Leeds United, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United. Hull have leapfrogged Bolton Wanderers into 22nd.
Here is how the Tigers fans reacted on Twitter to their creditable draw with Norwich last night-
