Marc Bircham- The former Millwall. QPR and Yeovil Town midfielder is a contender. Since retiring from playing in 2009, Bircham has held various posts at QPR, Millwall, Chicago Fire and Arizona United. He has never been a manager before.

Simon Bassey- He is currently in caretaker charge of the Wombles and they ended a run of nine straight defeats with a 2-1 home win over Southend United on Saturday with him at the helm. Could he now be in the running for the full-time position?
