2 Changes: Predicted Millwall XI to face Bolton

Millwall host Bolton Wanderers at the Den on Saturday afternoon. The Lions will be looking for a fourth straight home win after successive defeats away from home before the international break.

Neil Harris has a decision to make in goal, as regular number one Ben Amos is ineligible to face his parent club. That could open the door for Jordan Archer to make his first appearance since August.  The Scotsman was dropped from the match day squad against Swansea on September 1stand was left out of the next nine squads. He has since returned to the bench and is expected to start on Saturday.

David Martin is another option in goal; he has recovered from an injury he picked up whilst playing for the U23’s against Crystal Palace earlier this month. He is expected to return to the bench.

Neil Harris has no new injury concerns despite six of his squad going off to represent their country during the last two weeks.

Mahlon Romeo and Aiden O’Brien are calling for recalls to the staring 11 as is James Meredith.

Potential Changes

Jordan Archer IN, Ben Amos OUT – This will be the only enforced change that Neil Harris will have to make. Amos is on loan from Bolton therefore, he can not play against his parent club. I expect Jordan Archer to return for his first appearance since August.

Mahlon Romeo IN, Conor McLaughlin OUT – This is the only other change that I am expecting to see. McLaughlin came in at Carrow Road to keep their wingers quiet but Romeo offers more of an attacking threat which is what the Lions will be going for on Saturday, especially playing at home.

Predicted Millwall XI to face Bolton

Archer; Romeo, Hutchinson (C), Cooper, M Wallace; J Wallace, Williams, Leonard, Ferguson; Gregory, Elliott.
