Blackburn Rovers are understood to be looking into a move for former West Ham defender Jordan Spence, according to Sky Sports.

The 24-year-old right-back is currently out of contract at West Ham after his contract running out earlier in the summer.

A whole host of clubs have been keen to secure his signature with the likes of QPR, Leeds & Brighton also clubs mentioned however nothing has flourished.

Spence has been training with the Blackburn squad during pre-season which has let Rovers boss Gary Bowyer take at look at him. He is likely to feature in Rovers pre-season game against Bury on Wednesday evening where he will be aiming to impress.
