Sheffield Wednesday star admits Premier League dream amid Wolves transfer speculation

In the past few weeks, Sheffield Wednesday star Adam Reach has been linked with a January switch to Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers. In an interview with The Sun, Reach revealed that his dream is to play in the Premier League.

However, the winger hopes that he can fulfil his Premier League dream with current club Sheffield Wednesday, rather than leaving Hillsborough in January. Wolves have been linked with a move for Reach in the past, and could return for the midfielder in the next transfer window.

Wolves have been heavily linked with a move for Reach after a strong start to the campaign, and a Premier League switch in January has been rumoured. However, Reach insisted that he would stay with Jos Luhukay’s side beyond January, remaining optimistic that The Owls can turn around their fortunes and jump up the table to bring themselves into the fight for promotion to the top tier.

“Yet a few wins and everything is rosy again and I still believe we can get promoted,” Reach told The Sun.

“My dream is to play in the Premier League — ideally with Sheffield Wednesday.”

25-year-old midfielder Reach has caught the eye of Wolves scouts after an electric starts to the season. After 16 games in all competitions, Reach has scored five goals and assisted two. The Wednesday man has been catching the eye in England, after scoring four stunning long range strikers in the early stages of the Championship campaign – including two efforts from way out in consecutive games against Leeds United and West Brom.
